is LED better than Halogen?

Probably the most common abbreviation in lighting is LED and It stands for light emitting diode. According to www.energystar.gov, LED lights work by “an electrical current passing through a microchip illuminating tiny light sources which result in visible light”. LED lights are more energy efficient than halogen lights and produce almost 3 times the amount of lumens per watt, which simply means they are much brighter. Also, because of the way that LED lights work they automatically emit a white light compared to the halogen lights which produce a more yellow colored light. 

What is The Difference Between RGB and RGB+W?

One of the common abbreviations in lighting accessories is RGB and it simply stands for Red, Green, and Blue the three primary colors in colored lighting. RGB lights are capable of portraying any color on the rainbow and some lighting products are able to display different patterns. When you see the abbreviation RGB+W it stands for Red, Green and Blue plus White which basically means you have the option for multiple colors and pure white. Some lighting accessories are also available in pure white without the option of multiple colors.
